I tend to indeed commit these, because the older toolchain for AVR32 was broken
in at least one aspect.

However, although this toolchain from Atmel is supposedly better, we have
troubles building it properly in OpenEmbedded.

I have committed the gcc and binutils parts. In the binutils avr32_configure
stuff I have removed the hardcoded version number because that's obviously
wrong for us to do, who should depend on tools build for native, not host
provided stuff.

This works for me (Ubuntu 8.04 x86 host) but others (steliosk) reports this
change brings him a problem in configure-bfd. steliosk is running 64-bit AFAIK.

I can reproduce this on an older Gentoo host (64-bit) with GNU sed version
4.1.5 and autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.61.
